Fundraising Amount=$525.00 ; Goal=$500.00
Donate Now

When: Saturday, April 25th - registration begins at 8 AM

Where: Seneca Park

Why: To make a difference to local families coping with childhood cancer and chronic blood disorders. YOU can participate and help to raise money to assist families with parking at the hospital, gifts and food for their families during the holidays, activities and parties that help these children forget what they are going through for a little while and MUCH MUCH more...

We help close to 800 LOCAL families per year! Last year, we saved families over $50,000 in parking fees at the hospital, helped families attend important medical appointments with the help of over $700 in gas gift cards and ensured the family had food through providing over $1,400 in food gift cards. These are just a small handful of the services we provide for our families.

YOU can be providing the funding needed to help these families shoulder the burden they suddenly find themselves under when their child is diagnosed with cancer.

CURE Childhood Cancer Association is a local Rochester organization that was formed in 1976 by a group of bereaved parents. These parents were pioneers in providing a resource to other parents coping with childhood cancer. The organization was formed with the mission of providing Counseling Understanding Research and Education.

Thirty eight years later, CURE provides financial, educational, emotional and social assistance to families coping with childhood cancer and chronic blood disorders. CURE is there to meet the very specific needs of these families, who depend upon the services that CURE provides.

Team Caden

Please join us in the fundraising effort for CURE Childhood Cancer Association. Ryan and I would love you have you join Team Caden as we help raise money for a wonderful organization that helps children and families during one of the most difficult experiences of their lives.  As many of you know, Caden was diagnosed with a brain tumor(medulloblastoma) on August 26, 2014.  He has gone through surgery and radiation, and is currently doing chemotherapy.  Ryan and I are so grateful for all of the love and support of our family and friends, as well as from total strangers--many of whom have become new friends.  There are so many groups and organizations that have offered and provided help and support.  This is our opportunity to give back and help others in similar situations.
