CURE Childhood Cancer Association was founded in 1976. Our mission is to improve the lives of local families coping with childhood cancer or a chronic blood disorder. CURE is here to help and meet the very specific needs of families who are caring for a chronically ill child. It was determined these needs are: Counseling, Understanding, Research and Education. Our organization helps families being treated at the Golisano Children's Hospital in the hematology and oncology unit.

For more than three decades, CURE has been a friend to thousands of families and children coping with cancer and blood disorders.

With your generous support and participation in our Brunch, CURE can continue to provide support to more than 800 local families. Last year, we saved families over $50,000 in parking fees at the hospital, helped families attend important medical appointments with the help of over $700 in gas gift cards, provided families with over $7,000 in funeral assistance and ensured the family had food through providing over $1,400 in food gift cards. These are just a small handful of the services we provide for our families. Additionally, 83 cents for every dollar donated goes directly into programs and services for our families.
